To provide management system for attendance/leaving time using a portable telephone, which can drastically reduce the number off persons involved in working hour calculation and salary calculation on the basis of it and accurately and also fast conduct the calculations.

This system consists of an attendance and leaving time input device which inputs the attendance times and leaving times of employees each carrying a portable telephone, an employee management server connected to the input device through a telecommunication line and the portable telephone, the server is provided with a receiving means which receives an attendance time and a leaving time, a transmitting means which transmits time information obtained by the receiving means to the portable telephone to ask the portable telephone carrying person whether or not the attendance time and the leaving time is correct, a recognizing means which recognizes the attendance time and the leaving time on the basis of the response as to being correct or not from the portable telephone and an operating means which calculates an attendance time and salary on the basis of the recognized attendance time and leaving time.
