To provide a subscriber collation system capable of preventing the leak of individual information, and confirming a subscriber.
The subscriber collation system includes: a communication terminal; a subscriber data storage device for storing subscriber data; and a collation server, which are mutually connectable via a network. The communication terminal includes: a transmission part; a notifying means; an operation part for receiving an operation input; and a control part for allowing the transmission part to transmit collation data, which are generated based on the operation input and indicate a telephone number and a name, to the collation server, and controlling the operation of the notifying means. The collation server includes a management part for collating the name of a subscriber corresponding to the telephone number of the collation data from the subscriber data with the name of the collation data when the collation data are transmitted from the communication terminal, and notifying thecommunication terminal of coincidence or noncoincidence in response to the collation result. When notification is transmitted from the collation server, the control part operates the notifying means, based on the content of the notification.
