Abstract:
To provide a system, method and computer program for simplifying the configuration, in particular the initial configuration of a hearing aid especially for first-time users.SOLUTION: A system 2 of interactively assisting a user in the initial configuration of a hearing aid 4 comprises a display element 8, an input unit 10, and a processing unit 12A, 12B. The environmental situations are shown on the display element 8. Based on a user input, a selected section of the environmental situations is determined and highlighted. A specific sound situation is presented on the basis of the selection made by the user. An evaluation scale is displayed, allowing the user to enter a value for a self-assessment of hearing ability of the user for the specific sound situation. The system repeatedly records the values entered by the user for different specific sound situations. Based on the values entered by the user, setting values E for the hearing aid 4 are determined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
