Abstract:
To provide a system and a method for continuously oxidizing and removing PMs (particulate substances) which are collected by a DPF (diesel particulate collection filter) installed at a diesel engine by an action of a catalyst.SOLUTION: In a system and a method for continuously removing diesel particulates: the generation of the particulates is reduced by raising an air temperature after compression, and a combustion gas temperature after combustion by installing a heater at an intake system of an engine, operating the heater at idling and a low-load operation, and raising a temperature of intake air; an action of a catalyst is promoted by raising a temperature of an exhaust gas which flows in and passes a DOC (oxidization catalyst) and a DPF by forming an exhaust pipe and a PM removal device into heat insulation structures; and the particulates are effectively and continuously oxidized and removed at the DPF.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
