To provide a method for displaying status information about each device and transmitting control information in a home network environment and its system.

This method comprises (a) step for running an application program for providing a user interface in a device for control, (b) a step in which the application program periodically reads the status information of the controlled device, (c) a step in which the application program displays the controlled device in operation on a screen of the device for control by referring to the status information read in the step (b), (d) a step for displaying a web page for guidance regarding operation of a selected controlled device on the screen of the device for control when a user selects the specified controlled device and (e) a step for transmitting a control command to the controlled device when the user inputs the control command by referring to the web page for guidance.
