To provide an information material developing system for facilitating development of information material.
The system is provided with a material generation apparatus for generating information material and metadata describing the content or attributes of the information material, storing the information material into a data carrier, and storing the metadata into a data memory separately from the information material. The system is also provided with at least one metadata node having capability of processing the metadata, and a data communication network for enabling the metadata node to transmit/receive the metadata. The metadata are transmitted to the metadata node through the data communication network. Shortly after a metadata generating apparatus enters the radio communication zone of the network, the information material such as A/V material is generated. Also, by this system, the whole material is grasped and a work for editing the material can be improved.
