To provide a system including a controller with at least one processor.SOLUTION: At least one processor performs the steps of: acquiring first vehicle system data from a first vehicle system 302 of a plurality of vehicle systems 302 on the basis of common characteristics shared by the plurality of vehicle systems 302; acquiring second vehicle system data from a second vehicle system 302, the second vehicle system data being based on common characteristics shared by at least two vehicle systems 302; comparing the first vehicle system data with the second vehicle system data; and identifying one of the first vehicle system 302 and the second vehicle system 302 as a candidate vehicle system for maintenance on the basis of the comparison of the first vehicle system data with the second vehicle system data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
