To provide a system and a method for information display which can increase interest in an object such as an article appearing in an animation and then make the display effect of detailed information sufficiently high by giving relativity between the animation and information display and displaying the detailed information relating to the animation corresponding to the animation.

By this information display method, a distribution server sends animation data and detailed information data relating to the animation data out to a terminal, which display the animation based upon the animation data and information based upon the detailed information data. The animation and detailed information are synchronously displayed while the information is made to correspond to a specific included in the animation; when the terminal requests the detailed information relating to the information of the distribution server through terminal operation, the distribution server sends information relating to the displayed information out to the terminal, which displays it.
