To provide a system and a method for managing attending/leaving, with which attending/leaving management and attending time management are mechanized so as to reduce labor required for management thereby rationalizing office work.
The attending or entering and attending or entering time of the ID card owner are detected by receiving a signal from an ID card 21 through first input gate antennas 6 and 9, the leaving and leaving time of the ID card owner are detected by receiving a signal from the ID card 21 through second input gate antennas 6 and 10, a personal computer 31 for attending/ leaving management records these two kinds of detection, an entering person and a leaving person are confirmed from the detection of entering/leaving and displayed, the attending/leaving time of the ID card owner is collected from the detection of attending time and leaving time, and work hours are found and displayed for each ID card owner.
