Abstract:
To provide a system and method for monitoring a infusion line by which abnormality in a infusion line is detected easily in particular.
The system 10 for monitoring the infusion line takes out a power frequency signal induced by capacitance Cp formed between a power line 11 and a living body 12 from an electrode 14 mounted to the infusion line 13. The taken out power frequency signal is converted into DC voltage (effective value) by a monitoring means 15, and the DC voltage is compared with a previously set threshold to monitor the state of the infusion line.
