PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for managing/supporting operation of radiation examination capable of improving operation efficiency in radiation examination including a PET (positron CT) examination at a medical institution by efficiently managing radiation.
SOLUTION: A medical institution 4 comprises an input device 45 for inputting information related to subjects and radiation examination that they receive; a database 42 in which the operation management data for radiation examination in the medical institution 4 is stored; a processor 43 in which, based on the input result from the input device 45 and the stored information of the database 42, an examination schedule of a subject, a work schedule of a health personal, and the preparation schedule of radioactive chemical are generated, and based on the generated schedules and the stored information in the database 42, the dose the health personal receives during work is predicted and calculated in time series manner; and an output device which outputs/displays as required a predicted value from the processor 43 and the stored information in the database 42.
