Abstract:

To optimize printing throughput and printing quality by evaluating image contents.

The method of optimizing a printing process of an ink-jet printer includes: a step of measuring the image contents of a first print image; a step of comparing the measured image contents with a predetermined threshold value; and a step of adjusting the operation of printer constituent elements by changing printing process parameters, if the measured image contents exceeds the threshold value.
