PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide position information service which can make the telephone number of an origination side secret to an originating person side and a terminating person and charge a user of position information.
SOLUTION: An originating terminal has a ciphering means which ciphers position information to generate ciphered position information and an originating terminal communication means which sends the ciphered position information to a terminating terminal through a switching network. The terminating terminal has a terminating terminal communication means which communicates with the originating terminal and a position information management center, a position information acquiring means which transfers the received ciphered position information to the position information management center and acquires deciphered position information from the position information management center, and a display means which displays the acquired position information. The position information management center has a center communication means which communicates with the terminating terminal, a deciphering means which receives a request to decipher the ciphered position information from the terminating terminal, and deciphers and provides the ciphered position information for the terminating terminal, and a charging means which charges the terminating terminal for the provided position information.
