Abstract:
To provide a system and a method for predicting an individual smoking status.SOLUTION: There are provided a system and a method for evaluating a sample acquired from a subject. A computerized method comprises reception of a data set associated with the sample on a reception circuit, the data set containing quantitative expression data with respect to LRRN3, CDKN1C, PALLD, SASH1, RGL1, and TNFRSF17. The method further comprises generation of a score indicating a predicted smoking status of the subject by a processor on the basis of the received data set. The predicted smoking status of the subject may classify the subject into a person who smokes presently or a person who does not smoke presently.SELECTED DRAWING: None
