Abstract:
To optimize a closed zone surrounded by oil fences into a desired shape and dimension, and to easily adjust its details.
The oil diffusion prevention system 1 includes a remote controller 2 used on the land, oil fences 3a, 3b... in which propelling devices 6a, 6b... are incorporated, respectively, and which are self-travelable and relatively long, and relatively short oil fences 4a, 4b. The oil fences 3a, 3b... and oil fences 4a, 4b which are connected to each other in the longitudinal direction are disposed in a closed curve so as to surround a pier S to prevent the oil from being diffused when the oil flows from a ship such as a fuel transportation ship moored at the pier S to the sea.
