To provide an electronic document disclosure system for properly processing a disclosure request of an electronic document which is not suitable for disclosure.

An electronic document disclosure system includes: an electronic database in which an electronic document and the information of a person related with the creation of the electronic document including a person (person in charge) having the disclosure authority of the electronic document are stored; a connection database representing relationship between persons; a retrieval part for referring to the electronic document database and the connection database, and for extracting the electronic document which is suitable for retrieval conditions input from a retriever, and with which the person directly or indirectly having relationship with the retriever is concerned; a disclosure approval requesting part for requesting the disclosure of the electronic document to the person in charge registered in the electronic document database; and a disclosure processing part for disclosing the electronic document to the retriever when approval is obtained from the person in charge.
