Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide image distribution technology for distributing an image to each display device via a network and displaying the image simultaneously at each display device, taking into consideration the transmission delay time to each displaying device by the network.
SOLUTION: An image distribution system 10 distributes image data from an image distributing device 100 to a plurality of displaying devices 200 etc. via a network 300, and an image is displayed on a display section of each displaying device. In addition to an image transmission unit 140, the image distribution device 100 is provided with a trigger generating unit 150 for generating trigger data for initiating image display at each display device and a trigger transmission unit 160 for transmitting the trigger data to each displaying device. Each display device initiates image display, based on the trigger data, The trigger data includes time information for image display start time of each displaying device, using a local time of the image distributing device 100 as the reference time.
