Abstract:
To quickly and efficiently process a segmentation tag by using a look-up table and bit operation.
In this method for accessing the tag information of image data in an image, the 1st information showing how to encode each segmentation tage is obtained (S1705, S1710, S1715, S1720, S1725), the 2nd information showing a set of applied segmentation tags is obtained (S1730, S1735, S1740), a look-up table is formed based on the 1st information and the 2nd information (S1745), and at least one tag information out of plural segments is accessed by using the look-up table and at least one bit operation (S1750).
