Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for recovering bottom mud that are highly applicable to diverse types of water environment including object water areas such as a sea, a river, and a lake, capable of recovering bottom mud efficiently and readily without destroying the water environment, with a simpler configuration and processes.SOLUTION: A bottom mud recovery system includes: a bottom mud recovery unit for recovering bottom mud from a water bottom of an object water area; a bottom mud processing unit that classifies the recovered bottom mud at least into a sand and gravel component mainly containing sand and/or gravel, and a fine particle component mainly containing a silt particle and/or a clay particle in the state of being brought into contact with a medical agent; and a fine particle recovery unit that recovers the fine particle component. The sand and gravel component is discharged from the bottom mud processing unit and returned to the water bottom of the object water area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
