Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for selectively recovering a metal having high discrimination accuracy including that for crushed particle sizes.
SOLUTION: This is a system characterized in comprising a particle size adjusting mechanism 1 for making particle sizes of crushed pieces 5 of wastes crushed by a crushing part and including metal pieces approximately as prescribed one and for exposing a feature color of a metal; a specific gravity selection device 2 for selecting the crushed pieces 5a adjusted to about the prescribed particle size by the particle size adjusting mechanism 1 by specific gravity differences; a substance discriminating device 3 for discriminating the crushed pieces 5a selected by the specific gravity selection means 2 into each kind of metal and non-metal; and a selectively recovering device 4 for selectively recovering each kind of metal and non-metal from the crushed pieces 5a based on the discrimination result of the substance discriminating device 3.
