Abstract:
To provide a separation method for taking out a heavy organic compound formed in various production processes of HCFO-1233zd(E).SOLUTION: A method for separating HCFO-1233zd(E), HF and a mixture of a light substance and a heavy substance includes the steps of: separating the mixture into a flow containing the HCFO-1233zd(E) and a purge flow containing the HF and the light substance and the heavy substance; feeding the purge flow containing the HF and the light substance and the heavy substance to a flush distillation separator; separating the purge flow into an HF flow and an organic compound flow containing the light substance and the heavy substance, distilling the HF flow from the separator by a first distillation column, and forming a tower bottom stream of a tower top substance rich in HF and the light substance; re-circulating the tower top substance rich in HF containing the heavy substance to a supply raw material; adding the tower bottom flow of the light substance to the flush distillation separator; feeding the organic compound flow to a second distillation column, distilling the organic compound flow, and separating the organic compound flow into the HF, a light organic compound and a heavy organic compound; re-circulating the HF and the light substance; and recovering the heavy substance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
