To provide a system for supporting the recovery of a film unit with a lens and a method therefor, by which an efficient production schedule is planned by giving incentive for the recovery of a film unit, which is brought in, to a laboratory and efficiently recovering a body for a circular production factory.
In the recovery supporting system for recycling and reusing the body after photographing, the terminals 4a and 5a of a mini-lab or the like, the information terminal 3a of the circular production factory and the computer 2 of a control center are connected through a communication network, and then the computer 2 is provided with a means for storing a camera ID and a laboratory ID, a means for storing the camera ID read in the circular production factory, a means for extracting the unrecovered camera ID by comparing both camera IDs, and a means for transmitting information on the unrecovered camera ID to the laboratory to which the ID has been transmitted when a previously set period elapses, whereby the recovery of the film unit body is accelerated.
