Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic ticket system and method which does not take a long time for the time needed for a ticket usage sequence and is suitable for using the same ticket at a plurality of stores.
SOLUTION: An on-vehicle computer 27 generates a hashed electronic ticket T" by subjecting an electronic ticket T to hashing, also calculates C=g (T&verbar &verbar TS2&verbar &verbar Loc) by using vehicle location information Loc, when the electronic ticket T" is started to generated it, the date and hour information TS2 of an on-vehicle clock and the electronic ticket T, generates a ticket use certificate C and transmits, to a receiving machine 31, T", C, and IdC and IdT which have been used to generate the electronic ticket T. When the receiving machine 31 receives T", C and IdC and IdT from the on-vehicle computer 27, the receiving machine 31 verities the existence of the propriety of T", by using the received IdC and IdT and also verifies the existence of the propriety of C by using the location information Loc of the receiving machine 31 and data and hour information TS2' of a receiving machine clock, when the data are received from the on-vehicle machine 27.
