Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for treating contaminated soil, by which the contaminated soil can be decontaminated surely even when a lead bullet is mixed in the contaminated soil as a source of contamination.
SOLUTION: The system is provided with a self-traveling insolubilizing machine 200 for supplying an insolubilizing agent for insolubilizing lead and water to the contaminated soil in which the lead bullet being the source of contamination is mixed and mixing them to produce the insolubilized soil, a self-traveling modifying machine 300 for supplying an additive having a function of generating heat to the insolubilized soil produced by the machine 200 and mixing them to produce the modified earth and sand and a sorting machine 400 for sorting the modified earth and sand produced by the machine 300 and separating the lead bullet from the modified earth and sand.
