PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an oversteering tendency or an understeering tendency based on vehicle load information or other vehicle information by dynamically changing a load or suspension rigidity in a vehicle before instability occurs.SOLUTION: A method for controlling the drivability of a vehicle detects an overall load applied on the vehicle. The mass or the estimated mass of the vehicle is obtained. A controller determines whether the vehicle has passed a curve in its driving state. When it is determined that the vehicle has passed the curve in its driving state, the controller determines which of an oversteering tendency and an understeering tendency the vehicle has. The oversteering tendency or the understeering tendency of the vehicle is dynamically reduced by dynamically changing the load operation or adjusting the suspension rigidity of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
