Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorization system which is remarkably less sensitive to shocks without imposing any additional cooling constraint on an aircraft and affords a better efficiency of the mechanical transmission.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a system for motorizing a wheel connected to a suspension device, the system including an engine block 3 and a driving member 4 secured to the wheel. The engine block 3 is secured to a suspended portion of a macpherson strut 2 and a clutch device 6 connects an output shaft of the engine block 3 to the driving member 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
