To realize a simple and economical information outputting system without necessitating any private line network by recording retrieved information in a portable telephone and outputting the recorded information by the nearest outputting device.

This information outputting system is provided with a portable telephone 10 having a retrieving means (not shown in a figure) for retrieving information held by a host computer 30 through a radio communication network 22 and a recording means (not shown in the figure) for receiving information retrieved by the retrieving means and recording the information and an information outputting device 40 having a printer 50 for outputting the information recorded in the recording means and a connecting device 45 for connecting the portable telephone 10 to the printer 50. Then, the information recorded in the recording means is outputted through the connecting device 45 to the printer 50.
