An apparatus for measuring a bed user's load at a plurality of points on a surface of a bed or the like, estimating the bed user's posture by the acquired load and the center of gravity and predicting the bed user's getting out of a bed, includes: a means for dividing the whole bed surface into 2-4 areas, wherein respective divided areas have panels retained by a plurality of load measuring means for measuring load signals, and computing respective loads of the respective divided areas, and gravity centers of the respective divided areas from the plurality of acquired loads; a means for determining a probability of the user's getting out of the bed based on the acquired loads of the areas and the gravity centers of the areas; and an external output means for a nurse call button or the like.
