To provide a system for producing ammonia and methanol, which is capable of improving the production efficiency of ammonia and methanol while suppressing an increase in the production cost of both ammonia and methanol.
A system 10 for producing ammonia and methanol includes: a reforming device 11 for reforming hydrocarbons in natural gas 21 to form a reformed gas 22 containing CO and CO2; a CO shift-reaction device 12 for converting CO in the reformed gas 22 into CO2 to form a shift gas 31 containing CO2; a hydrogen separation device 13 for separating a portion of H2 from the reformed gas 22; a carbon dioxide removing device 14 for removing CO2 in the shift gas 31; a methanation device 15 for converting CO2 in a CO2 removing gas 33 into methane; an ammonia synthesis column 17 for producing ammonia 37; and a methanol synthesis column 18 for synthesizing methanol by using H2 separated in the hydrogen separation device 13 and CO2 separated in the carbon dioxide removing device 14 as raw materials.
