Abstract:

To provide technology capable of suitably suppressing vehicle body vibration by controlling an air bypass valve.

Drive torque TD output to a drive shaft from an engine via an automatic transmission is detected (S440) and road surface transmission torque Td_tire is detected based on rotation speed Vwdr, Vwdl of drive wheels of a vehicle, vehicle body speed Vd, and drive wheel torque Tdr, Tdl detected beforehand (S460). Drive torque TD and road surface transmission torque Td_tire are compared (S470). In case of TD>Td_tire (S470:YES), opening of the air bypass valve is estimated to reduce magnitude of TD-Td_tire by controlling drive torque from the engine (S490, S500).
