Title:
SYSTEM FOR QUANTITATIVELY EVALUATING ENVIRONMENTAL INFLUENCE OF PLANT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005052045
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a system for quantitatively evaluating environmental influence of plants based on an exchange process of emission, energy, water and carbon dioxide in a soil-plant-air circulation system.

This system for quantitatively evaluating the environmental influence of plants comprises the followings: a tree crown structure data acquisition means 10 observing a predetermined range of an evaluation area where plants grow by a laser beam cutting method to obtain a three-dimensional structure of a plant community in the evaluation area as unidimensional tree crown structure data; and an evaluation means 20 evaluating, in time series, environmental influences of plants at the evaluation area caused from physiological and biochemical activities based on the unidimensional tree crown structure data and geographic data obtained via a geographic information system.
