Abstract:

To provide a ring/traveler system of a ring type spinning machine in which a friction reduction effect is improved relative to prior art and the friction reduction effect is maintained for a long time without using a liquid lubrication.

The ring/traveler system of a ring type spinning machine (ring spinning frame) has a periodic structure 14 in which a recess part (groove) having a depth of 0.1 to 20 μm, preferably 5 μm or less, and a plane part having a width of 1 to 250 μm, preferably 10 to 50 μm are alternately formed on a slide surface of a traveler 12 and a ring 11 at the traveler 12 slides. A groove is formed as a recess part.
