To solve a problem that efficient suppression of a power use amount cannot be performed since the suppression of the power use amount of home electric appliances for tightness of a power supply amount from a power company is not considered and the suppression of the power use amount of the home electric appliances for peak time of the power use amount is not considered in a technique for allowing a user to determine a power use limit amount and suppressing the power use amount of the home electric appliances when the power use amount gets close to the limit amount.
There is provided a system for determining necessity of a power saving request for every predetermined time and controlling a power use amount of home electric appliances by selecting a user and outputting the power saving request when power saving is necessary. More concretely, the system executes the following processing of: calculating a predicted power use amount for every thirty minutes; comparing a power supply amount and the predicted power use amount; and determining whether or not it is necessary to output the power saving request to the user. When the power saving request is output to the user, the user to which the power saving request is output is determined in consideration of a use power amount, a predicted power saving amount, a target use power amount of each user until a requested power saving amount is satisfied.
