A system comprises an imaging device, a server and a communication terminal. The server determines that the current date reaches the date a prescribed time before the start date of an event on the basis of a schedule indicating the event in which the imaging device is used, generates request information for requesting transmission of state information indicating a state of the imaging device and transmits the information to the imaging device, receives the state information transmitted from the imaging device in response to the request information, and generates notification information for notifying a state of the imaging device on the basis of the received sate information and transmits the information to the communication terminal. The imaging device receives the request information transmitted from the server, generates the state information on the basis of the received request information and transmits the information to the server. The communication terminal receives the notification information transmitted from the server and presents the state of the imaging device on the basis of the received notification information.
