Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for sharing a package method a proxy agent so as to operate it as an SNMP agent.
SOLUTION: The system shares the method for packaging an SNMP proxy agent to be a protocol converter 2 existing between an NMS1 (SNMP manager) and a device 5 to be managed at the time of executing the SNMP management of the device 5 executing communication by a transmission line of an individual protocol which can not execute IP connection as if the proxy agent is driven as an SNMP agent by defining an item to be managed by a shared MIB, mapping existing item data 29 to be managed and MIB object ID by using MIB object ID conversion table 28 and preparing an SNMP trap message and a get response message corresponding to a get request.
