Title:
SYSTEM SHELF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0191807
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily and speedily assemble a freely height-adjustable strong system shelf without using any tool, by integrally screwing vertical structural parts through holes formed at the corner parts of the shelf. CONSTITUTION: A plug 71 has a cap flange 72 and a terminal part 73, where a male screw is formed, and the terminal part 73 is screwed with the female screw of a flange connector at the bottom or top of the system shelf. A flange connector 5 has a flange 3, terminal part 51 where a male screw is formed, and terminal part 52 where a female screw is formed. Besides, screws are formed on its inner peripheral surfaces. Holes 21 are formed at four corners of a shelf board 11. It is not necessary for the shelf board 11 to be rectangular and the shelf board 11 can be octagonal as well, for example. Besides, it is preferable the holes 21 are formed at the edge of the shelf board for improving stability on the floor. Since these holes 21 are held by the flange, however, they are formed a little away from the edge of the shelf board so as to reinforce strength around the holes.
