Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve efficient use of thermal energy for a volatile substance removing apparatus which separates a solvent to produce a viscous fluid.SOLUTION: A heater 12 is mounted at an upper part of a decompression vessel 11 and a preheater 13 is put on the heater 12, wherein the viscous fluid flows through the preheater 13 and the heater 12 in this order and is supplied to the decompression vessel 11. The preheater 13 is supplied with compressed carbon dioxide heated in a condenser 15 by the vapor of the solvent vaporized in the decompression vessel 11. The carbon dioxide gas discharged from the preheater 13 is compressed by compressors 21, 22 and supplied to an evaporator 23 to generate superheated steam. The carbon dioxide discharged from the evaporator is supplied to an expander 25 for expansion and condenses the vapor of the solvent in the condenser 15. The carbon dioxide discharged from the condenser is supplied to the preheater 13. A workload generated by expansion of the carbon dioxide in the expander 25 drives the compressor 21.
