Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily select a tariff code for an export destination.
SOLUTION: The system for supporting a tariff code selection includes database storing a code of a commodity to be exported and a tariff code of a country importing such that they correspond to each other, and searches a tariff code corresponding to the code of the commodity used as a key. The database includes a tariff code selection table wherein tariff items are hierarchically classified according to their properties. When no record matches with the code of the commodity, the system is programmed such that it searches records of a code similar to the code and displays the tariff code selection table corresponding to the similar records on a display. The system is also programmed such that it stores the tariff code corresponding to an item selected from the tariff code selection table as the tariff code corresponding to the commodity.
