To achieve improvement and batterment, regarding the setting operation of a terminal of a telephone device by the telephone device or a system using it and to enable application, etc., to various services by the approach of a portable terminal.

A portable device, that an individual carries as a portable terminal (100-1) and the terminal (100-2) of the telephone device are enabled to communicate with each other; individual's settings are registered in the portable device; and a means for communication is used and only put closer to the nearest terminal to easily make various settings. In a preferred example, the individual's settings can be made automatically only by the approach to the terminal; identification information on the portable terminal is detected by a portable-side terminal communication control part (100-2a); and the nearest portable terminal is detected by a nearby portable terminal detection part (100-2e). The information is stored in a storage part (100-2b) and sent out by a number sending-out part (100-2c) to a telephone device 100-3.
