Title:
SYSTEM OF WORKING OPHTHALMIC LENS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003302311
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent the occurrence of an artificial error or a work mistake caused by a worker in a process of ophthalmic lenses by allowing the worker to omit a positioning work and an adjusting work in processes from an optical measurement to making the axis of the ophthalmic lenses, thereby improving the efficiency and the accuracy of the work.

The system of working the ophthalmic lenses, in which a non- worked ophthalmic lens is worded so as to match a lens frame of a frame of spectacles, is provided with at least a lens meter 2 which measures a performance of the non-worked ophthalmic lenses, an axis making machine 3 which attaches a chuck to the non-worked ophthalmic lenses when grinding the lens, and an ophthalmic lens holding stand which holds the non-worked ophthalmic lenses. The ophthalmic lens holding stand can be positioned at a prescribed point in relation to the lens meter and the axis making machine.
