Abstract:
System for controlling a motor vehicle for overcoming a low obstacle, cooperating with a main parking assist controller (2) of a motor vehicle, comprising: a means (6) for detecting a low obstacle, configured to determine the overcoming of a low obstacle during operation of the parking assist controller and to suspend the operation of the latter, a means (7) for controlling the overcoming of the low obstacle, configured to determine an engine torque request in order to overcome the low obstacle on receipt of the low obstacle detection signal sent to the main controller (2) and to determine effective overcoming of the low obstacle, a means (8) for initializing the main controller (2), configured to order re-initialization of the main controller (2), cancelling of the engine torque request for overcoming the low obstacle and resumption of the operation of the main controller (2) on receipt of a message of successful overcoming of the low obstacle.
