Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system (1) for the production of hydrogen for use in particular fuel cells. The system has a thermal diffusion device (3) capable of being coupled to a natural gas reformer (2) and an electrochemical compressor (4) connected to the thermal diffusion device (3), wherein the thermal diffusion device (3) performs pre-separation of the gas components of hydrogen and carbon dioxide of said natural gas reformer by thermal diffusion, and wherein said hydrogen gas is carried out in said electrochemical compressor (4) compression.
