Abstract:
To provide a system and a method for technical document review in a computer-aided design (CAD) system using external verification data.SOLUTION: A system causes at least one processor to perform the steps of: determining a first product and a first identifier of manufacturing information (PMI); determining a first computer-aided design (CAD) model including a plurality of features; associating a first feature in the plurality of features with the first identifier, the first feature identified by a second identifier; associating verification data of a first PMI with the second identifier; detecting a selection of the first feature in the CAD model; and providing graphic display of the verification data according to the detected selection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
