Abstract:
To provide a T-joint structure which enables beam welding from a vertical plate side of a T-joint.SOLUTION: A T-joint structure includes a welded part which is welded such that an end surface of a vertical plate and a front surface of a horizontal plate are butted in the T-shape. A protrusion stripe that is integral with or is a separate body from the vertical plate is provided at a position along the longitudinal direction of the welded part. A portion or the whole of the protrusion stripe becomes weld metal that coagulates after melting and welds the welded part. The weld metal after welding bulges on the outer side with respect to an exposed surface that is not the contact surface with the horizontal plate on the outer surface of the protrusion stripe before welding. The exposed surface that is not the contact surface with the horizontal plate on the outer surface of the protrusion stripe before welding is in parallel with the contact surface or the exposed surface that is not the contact surface with the horizontal plate in the protrusion stripe before welding may cross the contact surface at an acute angle. Moreover, the protrusion stripe may be integrally formed with the vertical plate before welding, or another member may be joined to the vertical plate before welding in advance. Alternatively, the protrusion stripe before welding may be a separate body that does not belong to any of the vertical plate and the horizontal plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
