PURPOSE: To improve cornering power and steering stability by laminating breakers in which cords are arranged at an angle of 14-24 degrees relative to a center line of a tread part so that the breakers overlap both end parts of both wrapping parts of carcass plies laid over a pair of right and left bead wires.

CONSTITUTION: Carcass plies 18 in which nylon cords are arranged are laid over bead wires 10, 12 arranged in bead parts 14, 16, and the end parts 21, 23 of both wrapping parts 20, 22 of the carcass plies 18 consist of only one layer in the neighborhoods 30, 32 of both right and left ends of a tread part 28, and the other parts of the carcass plies consist of two layers. Furthermore, breaker plies 34a, 34b are laminated with an angle of 14-24 degrees from a center line C of the tread part 28 so that they overlap both the end part 21, 23 of the carcass plies 18. Thus, rigidity of the tread part 28 is enhanced, cornering power and steering stability are improved, and the weight of the tire can be reduced.
