To provide a T-type tire for emergency capable of suppressing the intrusion of oxygen in a tire itself, and enhancing not only the durability of a belt layer but also the durability of the tire itself even if rubber around the belt layer is deteriorated in quality by oxygen.
The T-type tire for emergency includes at least one belt layer 11 composed of a steel cord and rubber, and a belt protective layer 15 arranged on the external side in the tire radial direction of the belt layer 11 and composed of organic fibers and rubber. The belt protective layer 15 covers the belt layer 11 inward of the tire radial direction, and a protective width (W1) which is the width of the belt protective layer 15 in the tread width direction is set to be larger than a belt width (W2) which is the width of the belt layer 11 in the tread width direction.
