Abstract:
To provide a TRIP steel with a low Mn content.SOLUTION: A TRIP steel with a low Mn content contains, in mass%, C: 0.55-0.65%, Si: 0.25-1.75%, Mn: 0.4-0.6%, Cr: 0.5-0.7%, Ni: 0.005-0.05%, with the balance being Fe and inevitable impurities. The metallographic structure includes retained austenite of 1% or more and 10% or less (as a volume percentage of the total structure, the same applied subsequently), with the balance being bainitic ferrite.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
