Abstract:
To obtain a screwed grinding wheel which suppresses a truing amount and has a high lifetime, and to provide a truing device and a truing method for a screwed grinding wheel capable of shortening working time in truing.SOLUTION: In a truing device 50 for a screwed grinding wheel, a controller 54 comprises a tooth groove approach processing part 55C that makes a truer 52 approach the space in a tooth groove 27c, a contact processing part 55D that relatively moves the truer having approached the tooth groove in a first axial direction to make a contact with a tooth face 27a2, a contact position storage part 55E that stores a contact position Po at a point of time where a truing signal S1 is output, a start position set processing part 55F that set a truing starting position when starting truing with the truer on the basis of the contact position, and a truing processing part 55G that performs truing after moving the truer to the truing start position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
