Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a formation method of a tab which can form the tab in both end parts of a tape by simple operation, can reduce a size of the tab, and can form the tab having a shape convenient for gripping it when the tape is peeled.
SOLUTION: According to this tab formation method, a tape 1 is pulled out substantially linearly from a storage part, the tape 1 is divided into a front part 1a and a rear part 1b of the tape under tension, the downstream side of the tape front part 1a is twisted in such a manner that a face on which adhesive is applied faces the tape rear part 1b mutually, and faces on which adhesive is applied of the tape front part 1a and the rear part 1b thereof are laminated to form a substantially isosceles triangular laminated part. Next, a part from a central part on bottom side to a vertex 2 of the laminated part is cut by a cutting tool to divide into the tape front part 1a which has an initial tab only and is cut off and the tape rear part 1b which has a front tab a1 and is left on a tape storage part side at a first step, and the tape rear pat 1b left on the tape storage part side is pulled out by a desired length to form a rear part tab a3 instead of the initial tab a1. A second step similar to the first step is repeated by a desired number to form front and rear tabs a2, a3 in tape front and rear end parts.
