Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a TAB package-type integrated circuit device both in size and in mounting area.
SOLUTION: A device hole 3, a large number of inner leads 6 which protrude inward from the periphery of the hole 3, and connection leads 5 extending from the inner leads 6 are provided to a continuous and flexible tape carrier 1. The device hole 3 is smaller in size than the external shape of an integrated circuit part 2, and a part of the integrated circuit part 2 is made to face the tape carrier 1.
